Stichting Plons and the city of Rotterdam will host the first official Special Olympics European Sailing Regatta.
For over 100 years there have been sailing activities and regatta’s being organised at the yacht-clubs in Rotterdam and still today the venue is yearly the location for many events including some of the biggest regatta’s in the Netherlands.
Sailing will be open for alle European sailors in Unified Sports
Every team of one, two or three members aims in achieving to travel with a boat through a specific area in best minimum time. The speed, the power and the intelligence are three very important assets for the success in any sport and Sailing in Special Olympics is not different.
The best sailors develop the three aforementioned assets at the maximum of their capabilities.
